The Merekeeper
There is an old belief that where water lingers, life follows.
A quiet pond humming with dragonflies. A rain garden alive with bees after a summer storm. A forgotten hollow that fills each winter, becoming a refuge for frogs, newts and birds. These places ask for little, yet give immeasurably in return.
The Merekeeper exists to create, restore and care for freshwater habitats that belong to the land around them. Wildlife ponds, bog gardens, rain gardens, swales and seasonal pools are designed not as ornaments, but as living ecosystems—places where water slows, wildlife returns and every season leaves its mark.
Every project begins by listening to the landscape: its water, its soil and the life already present. The result is a habitat that feels timeless, natural and quietly beautiful, as though it has always been there.
Whether you're dreaming of a small garden pond or restoring a forgotten wetland, you're not simply adding water to a garden. You're becoming a keeper of it.
